Sales purchase

When you make a purchase, you provide details to make the payment and access our online content. We may communicate with you via the contact information provided, about the particular purchase, or related products you have made. The relevant details will be stored in the relevant channel and adhere to the usual security protocol.

We do not store any payment details like your card details, as these are processed by Stripe and encrypted. Stripe is a data processor where it is facilitating payment transactions on behalf of and at the direction of a Business User. For more information on how they process data, please visit here. Therefore, we at UncoverBritain do not hold your billing details and only have access to a customer ID and the last 4 digits of your card, for security reasons.


Sales enquiry

If you have contacted us via email, phone or social media, like Facebook for example, your contact information and enquiry will be stored in the relevant channel in which you contacted us and we will respond using the appropriate channel. As an enquiry, this information is not shared with anyone else, unless relevant to the enquiry and you have consented to your information being shared. For example, if you wish us to contact one of our partnership businesses on your behalf and you have asked us to do this.

Marketing emails

Our email subscriber list is a double opt-in list. This means that when you choose to add your email address, you will receive an email asking you to click the activation link to join to ensure you are happy to receive marketing communications from us. This means that you consent to receive emails from us for the purpose you consent to. We will never add you to this list without consent.
If you have opted-in, you can unsubscribe at any time using the link on each communication or asking us directly. Periodically, we will delete any email addresses stored without activity.

More specifically Facebook allow us to ensure our adverts can get in seen by those who have shown an interest before in our services via our Facebook / Instagram and LinkedIn marketing activity and our website, or those who have shared relevant information on their profiles.
